OTHER RULES OF CONDUCT

  • House system: The school is divided into 4 houses, each having its own colour, captain and is guided by the appointed animator. The house system directs all the circular and co-curricular activities.
  • School diary is the true record of the student's academic performance and conduct. It must be maintained with utmost care.
    • a. Every student must have a copy of the school diary and it must be brought to the school on every class day. A student who does not have his/her diary may be sent back home. Losing a school diary is a serious fault. A fine of Rs. 200/- has to be paid to get a new diary along with an applicable.
    • b. Physical bullying and cyber-bullying such as sending unpleasant text messages, photographs or emails are strictly prohibited inside the school premises and no such act will go unnoticed or unpunished.
    • c. Students are not allowed to drive 2 wheelers or 4 wheelers to school. Electronic gadgets (Cell phones, mobile, camera, laptop, ipods, digital watches and diaries, calculators, curios, pendrive, DVDs, portable audio and video devices and any mass storage devices) are forbidden in the school. Students who bring any of the above items are liable to be penalized. It would mean confiscation of the unit, suspension for a period of one week and fine of Rs. 1000/-
    • d. Cell phones are not permitted within the school campus. If students bring cell phones for any programme, this must be deposited with the Principal, who will give them to the students at the appropriate time. Phones brought without permission will be confiscated.
    • e. Involved in fights, drugs, alcohol and stealing will incur automatic expulsion. Calling nicknames and spreading rumors are strictly prohibited.
  • Every Student:
    • Must have a copy of the school diary and must be brought to school on every class day.
    • Must bring the books required to the school according to the daily routine.
    • Must complete the homework or classwork whenever given.
    • Must take good care of their books so as to keep neat and tidy.
    • Must wear a clean and complete uniform daily.
    • Must be on time for assembly in failure to the above rules marks will be deducted during the examination.
  • No remarks once written in the diary can be cancelled by anyone other than the Principal.
  • Every student must possess an Identity card issued by the school. Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. The articles brought to the school by the student, especially the school bags, tiffin box, water bottles etc. must be marked with the name of the child.
  • The teacher or school authority shall not entertain any parents or guardians on articles without the name lost by the child within the campus.
  • No students will be allowed to leave the school campus during school hours except on the strength of a written request from his/her parents and due authorization of the Principal.
  • Students address their teachers and all the members of the school staff with due respect and politeness. Arrogant and challenging behavior towards teaching and non-teaching staff is forbidden. Parents must take special care to help the students to have respect and love for the school. Refinement of manners, uprightness and self restraint should distinguish every pupil of the school.
  • Any damage to the school property must be made good by the student concerned. Damaging school furniture and property is considered a serious breach of the code of behaviour.
  • No gifts to the members of the staff or other remuneration in their honour will be allowed without the permission of the Principal.
  • Chewing paan, chewing gum, smoking tobacco products, alcohol, cigarettes and illegal drugs etc. is strictly forbidden. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience, bad conduct, stealing, any form of verbal or written obscenity justify dismissal.
